No internet connectivity after installation
Solution
SYMPTOMS: After installing the Killer NIC Software Suite, the red LED's on card are blinking, RJ-45 network port has link lights. However, TCP/IP (internet) connectivity is unavailalbe ("Limited or No Connectivity").
CAUSE: There are three general issues associated with this error message.
• The modem/router may need to be powercycled after connecting and installing the Killer
• The user's ISP requires PPPoE authentication to connect. Since the Killer bypasses the Windows networking stack, the Windows authentication service will not work. The user must set up authentication to be handled by his/her modem or router.
• The user’s ISP requires MAC authentication. The user must call his/her ISP to inform them that he/she has installed a new NIC and must have the MAC address on file changed.
Note: If the Killer NIC does not have illuminated red LED's around the heat sink, or the RJ-45 network port does not have link lights present, you will need to contact

for additional troubleshooting steps.
