This week's Featured eSports team highlights one of the top teams haling from Europe, Fnatic. Showing off a new, and quite awesome looking, website, this is one team that is clearly set to game with both style and skill. But who is Fnatic? The Fnatic Team is a professional video gaming team, consisting of players  from across the globe who all make a living through competing in video game tournaments. The Fnatic Team won the ESports Team of the Year Award 2006 and are the current reigning CPL Champions.

The Fnatic team is an ambitious and already highly successful gaming organization; with registered offices in Australia, the UK and the Netherlands they have a global reach. The Fnatic team is currently supporting three highly successful squads in World of Warcraft, Warcraft 3, and Counter-Strike, to name but a few and has established itself as a vibrant, well coordinated outfit with a clear vision for the future of competitive gaming. The Fnatic team was founded by Sam Mathews with the help of Joris Van Laerhoven and Anne Mathews.

Fnatic enjoys an excellent history of success which still caries on today, as you can see by their list of matches from just this month alone, and Bigfoot Networks is proud to sponsor such an excellent team.

Bigfoot Networks is heading to GDC 2010

Tags: gdc, tradeshow, conference, booth

Posted by Sean Bulger on 9 March 2010

Tomorrow I will be taking a plane to San Fransisco to join others from Bigfoot Networks for this years Game Developer Conference. GDC, if you don't already know, is one of the most major game industry tradeshows and conferences in the world, where people throughout nearly all fields of the game industry come out to both learn new tricks of the trade, and show off what they've been working on to their peers and press.

Joining in this year, we will be running a booth to show off the enhanced performance of the Killer Xeno Pro and what Bigfoot Networks can do to improve your online gaming performance with some very neat demonstrations. Not only that, but I'll be running around the expo floor, when I'm not helping to run the booth, with a camera in one hand and a smartphone in the other - so keep an eye on both our Facebook page and our Twitter stream for updates throughout the show.

In fact, if you're excited about any particular games or technology that will be getting shown off during GDC this year, just let me know on the forums and I'll see what I can do to help satisfy your curiosity.
