Some interesting things pass by my desk on occasion, but easily two of the very best are these Alienware Aurora ALX Desktops - two machines that have almost silly levels of power. They're beastly, powerful, and look awesome. Even better, while the components themselves are powerful and they look very cool, the internal case design is wonderful. Sliding in new Hard Drives would be a snap, the battery-powered LED would be great while tinkering, and the cooling system is pretty darn nice too. Truly, they're filled with much epic and win. Take a look:
If you're curious about the Internals, they are as follows:
- Intel Core i7 2.67 (Quad Core)
- NVIDIA GeForce 295, Dual GPU SLI
- 6GB RA
- 500GB HDD
- Killer Xeno Pro Gaming Network Card

Occasionally, we get asked if there is a benefit of using a solid router with the Xeno Pro. The answer to that is a definate "yes" - if you have a Xeno Pro in your machine, but you're lacking a router with the right features, or vice versa, then there is still some room for improvement in your home network. Luckily, for those of you who are considering picking up a Xeno, you can snag it for $25 off with the purchase of a Netgear WNDR3700 router to make sure your online gaming reaches the ultimate peak of performance.

Bigfoot Networks CEO Michael Howse and VP of Marketing John Drewry got themselves around during CES this year. During the event, they had a chance to talk with Gaming Nexus, who have turned their interview into a great article that goes into some good detail about us and the Xeno. Additionally, they also took the time to give the EverQuest 2 Side-by-Side video a good analysis.
"Since motherboards come equipped with network interfaces, John says we take that part of the computer for granted. Besides the speed increase over the years, Michael argued that there's no innovation in that area. This is where Bigfoot steps in and is looking to offer a product that is both innovative and useful for the gamer."
