Software Engineer

Windows Application Development


Responsibilities

The engineer will be working in the team responsible for developing MS Windows Applications and utilities dealing with games and networking.  These applications will be focused on enhancing game play with a gaming network card.  The developer will also develop test harnesses, assist quality assurance in developing a test plan, and work with product marketing to ensure that their design meets the product requirements.

Experience

  • Strong coding and debugging skills in Windows (Win 7, Vista, XP, 32-bit, 64-bit)
  • Hands-on experience designing and implementing GUI applications
  • Hands-on knowledge of C/C++, MS Visual Studio and standard development tools
  • Understanding of networking protocols
  • Experience with Game development is a plus
  • Experience with scripting languages a plus

Software Engineer

Linux Network Development


Responsibilities

The engineer will be working in the team responsible for developing embedded driver and support utilities for a network gaming processor.  This engineer will be responsible for designing and implementing various features on this processor to enhance the features and performance of the product in gaming environments.

Experience

  • Positions demonstrating strong knowledge of the Linux operating system.
  • Hands on experience with embedded systems programming
  • Strong background in networking protocols
  • Experience with network development tools (e.g Wireshark, etc) and technical know-how to troubleshoot network protocol issues
  • Experience with PowerPC is a plus
  • Experience with gaming is a plus

Software Engineer

Windows Networking Driver Development


Responsibilities

The engineer will be responsible for working in the Windows device driver development team to develop and maintain various low-level modules including a Windows Layered service provider,   an NDIS intermediate driver and a windows Ethernet device driver.  This engineer will be involved in designing and implementing various features of all of these pieces and will play a critical role in the design and definition of new products. 

Experience

  • Strong coding and debugging skills in Windows (Win 7, Vista, XP, 32-bit, 64-bit)
  • Hands-on experience implementing network device drivers using NDIS
  • Hands-on knowledge of C/C++ and the MS Windows DDK
  • Strong background in networking protocols
  • Experience with Windows Hardware Quality Labs Testing is a plus
